
Benefits & Getting Paid
Simply keep track of the hours that you work each
day on the timecard provided. Submit to your supervisor to
review and approve your time. Be sure to keep a copy for
your records. You can mail, fax, drop off, or email your timecard
each week by Noon on
Tuesday. Late timecards will be processed in the following
week’s payroll. If you would like more information
on electronically submitting your hours to CPS, please contact
your CPS Representative.
Medical & Dental Insurance
Once you are on assignment with CPS, you are immediately
eligible for medical & dental benefits through America Protect.

Direct Deposit
Direct deposit is available to all CPS employees. Funds can be
deposited into a checking or savings account and will be available

* Vacation Pay
To be eligible for vacation pay, temporary employees must work
a consecutive 2000 hours within the vacation benefit year. These
hours are accumulated from January - December. The employee must
also be active with CPS during the month of December. Eligible
employees will receive a vacation check issued at the end of December,
which will be equivalent to the average pay rate for the year (excluding
any overtime pay).
* Holiday Pay
To
be eligible for holiday pay, temporary employees must work a consecutive
960 hours during the 26 weeks immediately prior to the holiday
AND work the day before, and the day after the holiday, as scheduled
by the company. All holiday pay will be included in the regular
paycheck for the appropriate holiday pay-week. Holidays that qualify
are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.
Referral Bonus
If you refer someone to CPS and we place them on assignment for
at least 80 hours, you will receive a $50 referral bonus!

Getting Paid

your records. Please mail, fax, or drop off
your timecard each week by Noon on Tuesday. Late timecards will
be processed in the following week’s payroll.
Paychecks will be for the previous weeks work and will be calculated
from Monday – Sunday or within that timeframe. Clerical employees
paychecks are available at our Liverpool office on Wednesdays from
12:00 Noon until 4:30 pm. All remaining checks will be mailed
that same day. Manufacturing employees paychecks are available
at our North Syracuse office on Thursdays from 12:00 Noon until
4:30 pm. All remaining checks will be mailed that same day.
Save yourself a trip to the bank! Direct Deposit is available
to all CPS employees. To enroll complete the CPS Direct Deposit
form, attach a voided check or savings slip, and return the completed
form with your next timecard. Direct Deposit funds will be available
each Friday and your paycheck stub will be mailed to you for your
